I have just come back from a conference "
IUPAC Chemistry Congress" in Torino, Italy.

There were presentations and discussions about "typical" chemistry.
but also
some special themes
"Chemistry Protecting Health, Natural Environment, and Cultural Heritage"were featured.
It was probably because, the place, Italy is a country which has uncountable historical heritages. It is actually very far away from what I am doing but a few of presentations I saw were interesting
(Although I was more listening to the other themes...)

The view of Torino, Italy
Lingotto Conference Centre (August 5-12, 2007)
*Formerly the building was a factory of Italian automobile industry"FIAT"

The main venue "Audiļ½orium"
There were several famous scientists and there were many things I can learn from them the way to present or talk the works as well as scientific knowledges. It was interesting to see that one famous professor was even showing a magic during presentations! :)
Overall, it was a eventful time and I enjoyed the congress together with the every day's Italain Pizza and Pastas!
PS. Friends and everybody! hosted me in Rimini and Torino, it was really nice time and I'd like to say thanks here again!! Hope to see you again somewhere!!
